Nurses

Working as a nurse has little of what gets shown in films. It has plenty of filter coffee at 5 a.m. and name badges that have been spelled wrong for two years. The reality isn't glamorous, and the shirts in this collection know that.

The designs talk about what doesn't happen in the patient room and very much happens in the staff briefing. About the grandmother who scolds first and then brings pralines. About the trainee who was scared yesterday and changes the bed routinely today. Humor is often the only currency the hospital break room still has change for.

Motifs print on T-shirts, V-neck, long sleeves, hoodies, sweatshirts, pullovers, zip hoodies and tank tops. Material and certifications are on Amazon, sizes and cuts (unisex, men's, women's, partly kids) too. Not every product is available in every market — tote bags only on Amazon.com, for example. Prime delivery in 1-2 business days.

The designs are built primarily for the German market, with German-language phrases on most prints. They work as ironic statement pieces in bilingual contexts or for German-speaking nurses abroad. Pick a motif, head to Amazon, wear it after the shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the shirts gendered?

The German cluster name 'Krankenpflegerin' is grammatically female, but the cluster works for any nurse — male, female, non-binary. The English label simply reads 'Nurses'. Designs themselves don't reference gender; they reference the work.

Will the references make sense to a non-German nurse?

Some yes, some no. 'Müde, unterbezahlt, trotzdem da' (tired, underpaid, here anyway) translates as a universal nursing experience. References to the German healthcare system or specific German labor terms are more local. The motif previews on each product page show the exact text — if a phrase doesn't land, the recipient will spot it before they wear it.

What's the difference between 'Nurses' and 'Healthcare Workers' as clusters?

'Nurses' is more specific to the role — bedside, ward, ICU, the daily patient-facing work. 'Healthcare Workers' is broader and includes the wider system (admin, support, logistics). Same designs in both clusters, but if you're searching for 'nurse-specific' material, this is the cluster. If you want the wider healthcare-staff identity, the other one fits.

Which sizes are available?

Sizes depend on product type and cut. Unisex, men's, women's and partially kids' cuts are available. Exact sizes are listed in the Amazon size chart on each product page.

What material are the T-Shirts made of?

Fabric composition and certifications are listed on each Amazon product page. Most motifs come on cotton or cotton blends; dark and light shirts sometimes use different blends. Check the Amazon listing for exact specs.

Are the designs available on other products?

Yes — most designs are available on up to 17 different product types: T-Shirts, V-Neck, Long Sleeve, Hoodies, Sweatshirts, Tank Tops, PopSockets and Tote Bags.

How fast is shipping?

Orders ship via Amazon. With Amazon Prime, delivery usually takes 1–2 business days. Without Prime, expect 3–5 business days.

Can I get the design in other colors?

Yes — most designs come in several T-Shirt colors (e.g. black, navy, dark grey). Available colors are shown directly on the Amazon product page.
